This seed lot has been tested for the presence of seed-borne bacterial fruit
blotch (Acidovoraz avanae subsp. Citrulli), a bacterial disease which can be
transmitted through water, seed, implements, transplants, or cultural
practices. No symptoms of this disease were found in the seed tested. Note,
however, that no seed pathology test can conlusively detect all pathogens,
which may be present in a given seed lot.
